  I was recommended to use Field Motors by a good friend. Rather than take my Jaguar XFS to a main dealer I thought I would try this place and save on the high cost of a service and mot that main dealers sometimes charge, a big mistake!!
  My first mistake was not asking how much it would be for the service and mot as I was recommend to use this place and thought I was not going to be ripped off, when I collected the car I asked how much and was told it would be £380.00 for the B service and mot, when I told Field Motors they were charging me about £20 more than the main dealer charges, they reduced the bill to the same.
  Anyway the main reason for this review is nothing really to do with the cost, allthough I wish know that I taken it to Jaguar and got a full and proper service with the service book stamped.
  Approximately 130 miles after the supposed full service and mot the brake sensor light came on? I took it to another garage to be told the brake pads were almost metal on metal, this was not even advised on the mot, which makes me think did Field Motors actually do anything on the service and mot.
  The trouble with these small garages is they see a nice car and think they can get away with fleecing customers for work they've not done.
  I will definitely being taking it to the main dealer next time, a least then I can be assured it is safe for my wife and young to be in.
